Once your plates are ready, you will receive a letter in the mail from the Department of Transport outlining collection and installation details, as well as the ‘Certificate of Right to Display and Trade’ for the number plates.

If you have any further questions about purchasing West Coast Eagles license plates, please call the SuperStore on (08) 9388 4555.

What is the Certificate of Right to Display and Trade?

When you purchase West Coast Eagles number plates, you are issued with a ‘Certificate of Right to Display and Trade’. While the physical license plates always remain the property of the Department of Transport, the Certificate gives you the entitlement to the plate combination purchased.

The holder of the Certificate of Right to Display and Trade can sell this entitlement in the open market.

You will need to provide your WA Driver's Licence number, full name, date of birth and former WA postal address to ensure that the plates are assigned to the correct record along with your postal address for your current residence.

You must to provide one form primary identification and one form of secondary identification when collecting your plates. At least one of the forms of identification must contain your signature. A fee applies to have the plates issued to a vehicle.

When the plates are being issued to a vehicle, the ‘Certificate of Right to Display and Trade’ must match the vehicle owners name. Otherwise, the Department of Transport requires a ‘Nomination of Vehicle to Display Optional Plates’ (form E63) be completed by the holder of the ‘Certificate of Right to Display and Trade’.

It is the responsibility of the person collecting the plates to remove the vehicle’s existing license plates and to attach the new plates using their own tools. Alternatively, it is suggested that the car is left at home and you bring in the old plates to exchange for the new ones.

When the plates are being issued to a vehicle, the ‘Certificate of Right to Display and Trade’ must match the vehicle owners name. The West Coast Eagles online SuperStore uses Thawte Internet Payment Gateway to provide a 100% secure environment for the authorisation of credit card transactions over the Internet. Confidential information including client credit card details are encrypted the moment they are transmitted from the client's browser to the banking network using industry standard SSL 128-bit encryption technology.

A customer's credit card details are not stored anywhere on the internet and the only company who has access to this data is the merchant's bank. The bank also sends confirmation information via the same encryption technology back to the client's browser. These secure processes provide clients with peace of mind when purchasing online.
